For the grand opening of the Rosewood Fuschl in the tradition-rich Schloss Fuschl our task was to develop a visual identity that emphasises both the exclusivity of the world-famous of the world-renowned hotel brand as well as the history and craftsmanship of the location.
The challenge was to bring these two worlds together while creating an invitation that would create a luxurious and memorable experience both digitally and in print. The printed invitation was designed with special attention to detail and tactile quality. We chose finest paper from Italy, whose texture and soft colouring perfectly reflect the elegance of the Rosewood standard. The design is based on traditional printing techniques: Letterpress and a black wax seal, hand-stamped with the Rosewood Fuschl crest.
These classic craft methods not only create a unique tactile experience, but also a connection to the history and artisan heritage of the castle.
We set special accents by integrating local arts and crafts. For example, the invitation was embellished with painting elements by Bianca Tschaikner and the Salzkammergut pattern by Jörg Hoffmann. These artistic details capture the region and its culture and give the invitation a very personal, local touch, while the digital invitation echoes the elegance of the printed version. With a careful choice of colours and typography, it stays true to traditional handwriting.
The result is a harmonious symbiosis of tradition, art and exclusivity.
